Armstrong stated that his choice to no longer contest them was not an admission of guilt but was alternatively a results of his weariness with the method. In spite of Armstrong’s continued protestations of his innocence, the proof of his doping was so too much to handle that in October 2012 he was formally stripped of his titles and banned throug
